Sharad Pawar raised questions on the inauguration program of the new Parliament, said- ‘I am worried that…’


New Parliament Building Inauguration: Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) chief Sharad Pawar said that he witnessed the inauguration ceremony of the new Parliament on Sunday morning and was happy that he did not attend the event. This statement of Sharad Pawar Prime Minister Narendra Modi Has come after dedicating the new house to the nation.

Sharad Pawar further said, ‘I saw the program in the morning. I’m glad I didn’t go there. Seeing what happened there, I am worried whether we are taking the country backward? Was this event only for a limited number of people?

Not only this, before Sharad Pawar, Supriya Sule also reacted to the inauguration of the new parliament and said that the opposition parties were not involved in this programme. In this case, it should be considered as an ‘incomplete event’. Supriya Sule says that conducting this event without opposition means that there is no democracy left in the country.

New Parliament inaugurated with chanting
Significantly, on the morning of Sunday 28 May new parliament building was inaugurated and during this the historic Sengol was installed in the Lok Sabha chamber. At the same time, dressed in traditional attire, PM Modi entered through Gate No. 1 of the Parliament complex and was received by Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla.

This was followed by Vedic chants by the priests of the Sringeri Mutt in Karnataka and in the meanwhile the deities were invoked with ‘Ganapati Homam’ for blessings. PM Modi chanted Ganapati Homam. The Prime Minister prostrated before Sengol and with the sacred scepter in hand sought blessings from the high priests of various ‘adhinams’ in Tamil Nadu.

Rajnath Singh, Amit Shah, S Jaishankar, Ashwini Vaishnav, Mansukh Mandaviya and Jitendra Singh, Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh were present on the occasion. Yogi AdityanathSeveral Union Ministers including Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma and BJP President JP Nadda were present.
