Motihari: The son-in-law shot and killed his mother-in-law in Jatwaliya village of Kundwa Chainpur police station area of the district. On Sunday evening, while returning from farm work, the son-in-law, who ambushed from the east, fired two shots at the mother-in-law, due to which she died. The daughter was also with the deceased at the time of the incident. The daughter has accused her husband that she shot and killed him. In the past too, the son-in-law had attacked the mother-in-law Gayatri Devi with a knife from the roof of the house last year. On the other hand, the aggrieved party had registered an FIR by giving an application at the Kundwa Chainpur police station. Even after completion of one year, the accused has not been arrested by the police.
