Australian Universities Ban Indian Students: Australia, which has friendly relations with India, has given a big blow to Indian students. Australian universities have stopped students from many states of India from coming here. Australia’s Home Affairs Department is now rejecting visa applications of students from 6 states including Jammu and Kashmir.

Australia has put a complete ban on the students of 5 Indian states, under which now students of Punjab, Haryana, Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat and Jammu and Kashmir will not be able to study in Australia. And, if you do not get a visa, you will not be able to go to Australia.

‘Misusing student visa’
According to the Australian newspaper Sydney Morning Herald, Australia’s two major universities wrote a letter to their education agents last week. In which instructions were given not to admit students of Punjab, Haryana, Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir. The reason behind this step is said to be misuse of visa by the students. In fact, last month, 4 Australian universities had accused Indian students of misusing student visas. They are coming to Australia for job instead of studying with student visa.

‘Come here to study and start working’

On behalf of Western Sydney University, it was said that some youths of India come to Australia on ‘Student Visa’ and start working here. The administration of the university said that ‘in 2022, many Indian youth got admissions, but left their studies midway, and started doing jobs. This is visa fraud happening.
