Actually, the person was looking for some schemes online to invest money, when he found two cybercriminals on Telegram app who promised him good returns. The criminals made the person submit his personal details on a fake website and asked him to invest Rs 1,000 initially. After some time, the person got a profit of Rs 650 on the investment and Rs 1,650 started appearing in the account. On seeing this, the person got convinced that both the persons are real. After this both asked the person to invest Rs 1 lakh. As soon as the person invested the money, the balance increased to Rs 2.2 lakh. When the person tried to withdraw this money, he could not do so and realized that he had become a victim of fraud.
