US Debt Ceiling Crisis Update: America (USA), the country with the world’s largest economy, is facing the danger of bankruptcy these days. His government treasury has reached the lowest level in 6 years. The government there is struggling with debt crisis. Due to paucity of funds, now America has stopped the financial assistance given to Pakistan.

Republican Party MP in the US Marjorie Taylor Green said that ‘to get our country out of the crisis, America’s Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has now decided to stop the financial aid given to poor countries.’ Pakistan is the main among these countries. Pakistan is already facing the most serious economic crisis. In such a situation, stopping American aid will have a worse effect on Pakistan.

Pakistan was getting money for years
The CDC is the US government health agency. The main purpose of this agency is to protect the health of the general public through the control and prevention of diseases in the United States and around the world. Pakistan used to get help of crores of rupees from this agency. However, now he will not get this help. America’s MP Green tweeted, ‘Soon $ 400 million will be withdrawn from the CDC Global Health Fund, which sends money abroad to countries like China.’

‘Taxpayers’ money will not be given to these countries’
Green shared a long list of many countries and wrote that these countries will not get help. Those countries are- Pakistan, Albania, Armenia, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, China, Indonesia, Georgia, Namibia, Nigeria, Oman, Philippines, Rwanda, South Africa, South Sudan, Tanzania, Thailand, Uganda, Ukraine and Vietnam etc.
