Shootout between biker gang in New Mexico, 3 killed, shots fired at Memorial Day rally


US Shootout: There has been an incident of shootout between biker gangs in New Mexico province of America. Three people died in the shootout during the bike rally, while 5 were injured. According to the police, the incident of firing took place in the Red River area on Sunday (May 28).

The mayor of Rival Dell told that the people involved in the firing have been arrested. All these are said to be related to the biker gang. The New Mexico State Police said that firing occurred after a skirmish during a bike rally on Sunday. Thousands of people were present in the rally. After the incident, the police called off the rally. In view of the tension, curfew has been imposed for the time being.

Airlifted one injured

Police say that the bike rally was organized on the occasion of Red River Memorial Day. Thousands of people had reached to see this rally. During the bike rally, there was an argument between two groups of bikers, after which one group opened fire. Two injured in the firing died on the spot, while one died during treatment in the hospital. Five people were injured. The injured were admitted to the hospital where they are undergoing treatment. Police told that one injured has been airlifted and sent to Denver.

Charges against three gang leaders

Curfew has been imposed by the police in view of the tension in the area. The area where this incident took place has mostly black population. According to media reports, the incident of firing also took place between two black groups.

After the firing incident, the police arrested all the accused from the spot. The police have filed charges against three gang leaders. Gangs of criminals have been involved in three shooting incidents in Oklahoma and Texas in the last two months.
