Jammu Kashmir Terrorist Attack: In Anantnag of Jammu and Kashmir, terrorists have once again targeted the common citizen. On Monday (May 29), terrorists opened fire on a person working in an amusement park near Janglat Mandi. The victim has been identified as Deepu, a resident of Udhampur. After being injured, he was taken to the hospital where he died.
The Jammu and Kashmir Police tweeted that they have registered a case and started the investigation. Former Jammu and Kashmir CM Omar Abdullah tweeted and condemned the attack and expressed grief. He said that he is hurt by the news of a targeted attack against a civilian in Anantnag area of South Kashmir. The killing of Deepu, who worked for an honest living in an amusement park, is a despicable act and I strongly condemn this heinous attack. Deepu’s soul rest in peace.
First shopkeeper was fired
In Anantnag earlier too, terrorists had fired at a shopkeeper. In the month of April last, terrorists opened fire on Aqib Ahmad Dar (31) at Marhama in Anantnag district. Ahmed Dar was taken to the hospital where his condition was stated to be stable. Apart from this, on the 4th of this month, terrorists opened fire on security forces in Bijbehera area of Anantnag.

A policeman had minor injuries in this attack. Jammu and Kashmir Police had said that suspected terrorists opened fire on security forces in Bijbhera area. A policeman suffered minor injuries in this incident. He was shifted to a nearby hospital for treatment.
