Were women leaders of Imran Khan’s party PTI molested in jail? Investigation revealed

Imran Khan Case: Women are being molested and tortured in Pakistani jails. Former Prime Minister Imran Khan has made this claim. After this claim of PTI Chief, Lahore’s SSP Investigation Anush Masood said that there is no question of ill-treatment of women prisoners. All these things are false.

Addressing a press conference in Lahore, SSP Masood said that he and the Deputy Commissioner of Lahore visited Kot Lakhpat Jail. We met everyone individually and questioned them (on any misbehaviour). Masood further claimed that “I also met Khadija Shah and spoke to her about how she was being treated in the jail.”

Men can’t visit women prisoners

He said that medicines are being given to every prisoner, even those with respiratory and skin problems. Masood said that a medical officer is present there at all times. On the question of molestation, he said that there are only women employees in the jail, so the allegations of Imran Khan are false and baseless. Masood has said that in Kot Lakhpat Jail, no man can enter the area where women prisoners are kept. The woman police officer said that two women doctors and two women psychologists are present inside the jail at all times.

Imran Khan talked about misbehavior inside the jails

The officer’s statement came after PTI chairman Imran Khan alleged that PTI women arrested after May 9 were being mistreated inside jails. The PTI chief had claimed that women were being molested and harassed in jail. Repression and terror campaign against women is being carried out so that their men can discourage their political participation. During this, he appealed for the release of PTI workers.
