Worried about cab cancellation? Ola has introduced its solution

Ola Prime Plus: Have you ever been asked by a cab driver to cancel the ride at the last minute? If so, then you are not alone. Many of us have faced this problem. For people, finding a cab becomes a herculean task at times. Good luck getting a cab especially during rains, or during peak office timings. To solve this problem for its customers, Ola company has come up with a new premium service called Ola Prime Plus. Testing of this service is being done. Let us know about this service.

What is Ola Prime Plus?

When a user books a cab through Prime Plus, a non-cancellable ride will be offered. Not only this, the customer will be connected with the top driver. This will provide hassle free travel to the customer. However, there is also a drawback. The Prime Plus service is currently available only for select users in Bengaluru. In such a situation, people of other areas will not be able to use this service now. The service is being tested. Perhaps the company wants to see the response of this new service before rolling it out to all the users.

What did the co-founder of Ola say?

Ola’s co-founder and CEO Bhavish Aggarwal has told about this step of the company by tweeting. He wrote, “Ola Cabs is testing a new premium service. Prime Plus: Best drivers, top cars, no cancellations or operational issues. Going live today for select customers in Bangalore. Try it out. I’ll use it and share my experiences here on Twitter.”

He also shared a screenshot of the booked ride showing the new option to choose Prime Plus while booking a ride through the Ola app. Do you know what we noticed? In the screenshot, the cost of booking a cab through Prime Plus was Rs 455, while the cost of the same ride when booking a mini cab was Rs 535. Now in prime plus it will be interesting to see how the prices change.
