Imran Khan reaches anti-terrorism court, submits bond in four cases


Imran Khan News: Pakistan’s former Prime Minister and PTI chief Imran Khan appeared before the Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) on Tuesday (May 30) in four cases including the Jinnah House attack. During this, he submitted a bond regarding his anticipatory bail till Friday (June 2).

Pakistani media quoted an official as saying that Imran Khan appeared before ATC Lahore judge Ijaz Ahmed Buttar and deposited a bail amount of one lakh Pakistani rupees each in four cases of terrorism, in which he has already been protected from arrest till June 2. Bail was granted. According to reports, a group of lawyers raised slogans in favor of former Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan when he appeared in the court amid high security.

Because of this the court was approached

ATC judge Abhar Gul Khan, while giving a safe verdict on the PTI chief’s petition, said that a one-time search warrant is not forever. As soon as the proceedings started, Commissioner Lahore, DC Lahore and other officers appeared in the court of ATC Judge Abhar Gul. Let us tell you that Imran Khan had moved the Anti-Terrorism Court of Lahore, requesting to cancel the search warrant for his Zaman Park residence.

Imran Khan gave a special message to the government

The judge summoned the DIG (operations) of Punjab Police for the next hearing and directed him to file a reply. Significantly, on May 18, the police had obtained a search warrant from the ATC for Imran Khan’s Zaman Park residence. After leaving the court, Imran Khan issued a message to the government saying that it should break as many PTI members it wants to break in the next two to three weeks, but elections should be announced.

Violence took place on May 9

Significantly, after the arrest of Imran Khan on May 9, there were violent demonstrations across the country. His party workers vandalized more than twenty military establishments and government buildings, including the Lahore Corps Commander’s House (Jinnah House), the Mianwali airbase and the ISI building in Faisalabad.
