DA Hike News: The central government can give a big gift to the employees. Due to this, there can be a big jump in his salary. His salary can increase by more than 9 thousand rupees simultaneously. This increase will happen till the central government increases it under a rule made.
The government had made a rule in 2016. Under this rule, it was said that as soon as the dearness allowance is 50 percent, it will be reduced to zero and the basic salary of the employees will increase drastically. Now when can be 50 percent DA and how many times it can be increased. Let’s understand…
dearness allowance may increase soon
Under the Seventh Pay Commission, the central government increases the dearness allowance twice a year. It has been said in some media reports that after this, the central government can increase DA anytime in July. This increase will be of 4 percent. This means that currently 42 percent DA is being received and after increasing by 4 percent it will become 46 percent.
At the same time, the central government can increase it once more by 4 percent after six months. In such a situation, the total dearness allowance of the employees will reach 50 percent. Till then the 2016 rule of the government will be applicable.
Will there be an increase in basic salary?
When the Seventh Pay Commission was implemented during 2016, the central government added the previous dearness allowance to the basic salary and then was increasing the salary on the basis of the new dearness allowance. Now once again this rule can be implemented. 50% dearness allowance can be added to the basic salary. After this, further dearness allowance will be increased from zero.
By how much will the salary of the employees increase?
The basic salary of pay-bed level one employees is Rs 18,000. Calculating on this, you get Rs 7560 as dearness allowance. However, if this calculation is done on 50% dearness allowance, then it will be Rs 9000. That is, there will be an increase of 9 thousand rupees in the total salary. This means that the salary of 18 thousand will increase to 27 thousand rupees. After this dearness allowance will be added if it increases.
