Tirath Singh Rawat met BJP leaders Dushyant Gautam and BL Santosh in Delhi on Monday. If sources are to be believed, Tirath Singh Rawat now wants to meet the high command. According to sources, the former Chief Minister wants to contest from Pauri or Haridwar Lok Sabha seat. However, there is no confirmation about which leaders of the high command the former CM has sought time to meet. It is expected that soon he may meet many leaders.

However, during the last few days, he has verbally attacked the Chief Minister of Uttarakhand, Pushkar Singh Dhami. However, one of his videos also went viral in the past. In which he was saying that no work can be done in the state without giving commission. It is not known when this video is from. In this, BJP leaders were seen sitting in a room and expressing concern over ‘commissioning’ in the state.
The former Chief Minister has been creating controversies with his statements in the past as well. In March last year too, Rawat was in headlines for his statement about youths wearing torn jeans in the absence of culture.
