35 lakh students could not pass 10th this year, most students are enrolled in these boards


Board Result 2023 For This Year: This year, where the results of many board exams have been released, the results of some boards are yet to come. In the results released so far, it has been revealed that this year around 35 lakh students will not be promoted in class 11th. This analysis has been done by the Ministry of Education. Although all these students have not failed. If we talk separately, then 27.5 lakh students failed to pass the 10th exam, while 7.5 lakh students did not give the 10th exam at all.

These are the biggest boards

All state board students were also included in this analysis. It was found in the assessment that there are five big boards in the country in which fifty percent of the total students are included. Their names are – Uttar Pradesh, CBSE, Maharashtra Board, Bihar and West Bengal. The remaining 50 percent students were enrolled in the remaining 55 boards.

There are so many central boards in India

There are three Central Boards in India. Their names are CBSE i.e. Central Board of Secondary Education, CISCE i.e. Council for the Indian School Certificate Examination and NIOS i.e. National Institute of Open Schooling. Apart from this, there are 60 state boards in our country.

There was a lot of difference in the results of these two states.

The two states where there was a huge difference in the results this time are Meghalaya and Kerala. While the pass percentage of one state was very good, the pass percentage of another was very bad. Only this time in Senior Secondary, a total of 99.85 students passed, while Meghalaya’s Senior Secondary result was 57 percent.

Which states students left the exam

According to the report, 85 percent of the school dropout students this year are from these states. Their names are – UP, Bihar, MP, Gujarat, Tamil Nadu, Rajasthan, Karnataka, Assam, West Bengal, Haryana and Chhattisgarh.
