Indian Premier League 2023, IPL Trophy: The final match of the 16th season of IPL ended in a very exciting way. Chennai Super Kings won the title for the 5th time by scoring the required 10 runs in the last 2 balls. After winning the trophy, the team of Chennai Super Kings arrived with the trophy at the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam Temple located in Thiagaraya Nagar, Chennai on 30 May. Here he offered special prayers to the trophy.
As soon as the Chennai Super Kings reached Chennai after winning the title on May 30, the trophy was brought to the prestigious temple from the airport itself. Although during this time no player of Chennai team was present there. The photos of the special worship of the trophy are becoming increasingly viral after appearing on social media. Former BCCI President and current India Cements Managing Director N Srinivasan participated in this special worship.
After the ban of 2 years, when Chennai Super Kings again returned to IPL in the year 2018 and won the trophy. Since then, whenever the team won the title, it has become a tradition to bring the trophy to the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam temple located in the famous Thiagaraya Nagar. Due to rain, the final match was held on the reserve day this time.

In terms of winning the IPL trophy, Chennai Super Kings have now equaled Mumbai Indians. Now the record of winning this title 5-5 times has been registered in the name of both the teams.
