Kanpur Crime News: In an attempt to free her brothers from jail in Ambedkar Nagar area of Gujaini in Kanpur district of Uttar Pradesh, a widowed woman climbed a 70 feet high water tank on Tuesday.

He told that after climbing on the water tank, the woman accused the Govind Nagar police that she had arrested her brothers about a month ago on the charge of killing her husband.
The Assistant Commissioner of Police said that the woman claimed that she climbed on the water tank as her complaint was not being heard anywhere.
Sent to Govind Nagar police station
The ACP told that after two hours of persuasion, the woman could be brought down from the tank.
He was assured redressal of his grievances and later he was sent to Govind Nagar police station.
But, ACP Pandey claimed that the woman’s brother was not innocent (as claimed by him) and that the police had arrested him only after collecting solid evidence against him.
