UP News: In Uttar Pradesh’s Kanpur Dehat, a case of one lakh robbery has come to the fore in broad daylight with father and son withdrawing money from the bank. The incident is of Akbarpur town of Akbarpur Kotwali area of the district. Here, Karan Singh, a resident of Nariha village, along with his son Gaurav, had withdrawn about one lakh rupees from PNB Bank located on Akbarpur-Mati road for household work. He had just reached a short distance from the bank on his bike and started drinking water, when two bike-borne robbers who came from behind snatched the bag full of money and ran away.
The incident of loot was captured in the CCTV camera of a nearby house. Sensation spread in the area due to the incident of robbery in broad daylight. On the other hand, as soon as the information about the incident was received, the Additional Superintendent of Police and Police Officer Akbarpur along with the police force reached the spot and started investigating the incident. Along with questioning the victim, the police has started searching for the robbers on the basis of CCTV footage.

The victim said that he had gone to the bank with his father to withdraw money for the construction of a house. As soon as he stopped at a handcart standing nearby with the money, the bike riders pushed him and snatched the bag containing the money. Additional Superintendent of Police Rajesh Pandey, who reached the spot, said that the incident would be investigated. This phenomenon is being observed from some other technique. The police is also accepting the fact that policemen were present near the bank, but the incident took place.
Police bid – teams became active to search for the robbers
The Additional Superintendent of Police told that Gaurav and his father, residents of Nariha village, were withdrawing one lakh rupees from PNB Bank at Mati Road in Akbarpur for the construction of their house. At a distance of about 100 meters from the bank, they started eating buckets of water. During this, two persons riding a bike, in which one was wearing a helmet and one had covered his face with a cloth, escaped from there by snatching one lakh rupees from behind.
