The GST collection figures for May 2023 have been released by the Finance Ministry through its official Twitter handle. In May 2023, out of a total of Rs 1,57,090 lakh crore, Rs 28,411 crore has been collected as CGST. CGST in April was Rs 38,400 crore. Whereas in May, SGST was Rs 35,800 crore. Talking about the last month, this figure was Rs 47,400 crore. This month’s Center GST after tax deduction is Rs 63,780 crore. And the state GST will be Rs 65,597 crore.

GST collection increased by 12 percent year on year
Talking about the GST collection year after year, an increase of 12 percent has been registered in the GST collection from May 2022 till now. On the other hand, talking about the monthly GST revenue, the GST collection figure has crossed Rs 1.4 lakh crore for the 14th consecutive month.
