Maharashtra Politics: Eknath Shinde and BJP’s coalition government is running in Maharashtra. The leaders of the coalition are waiting for the cabinet expansion. The Shinde government is on the target of the opposition for the delay in this. Meanwhile, the state’s Deputy CM Devendra Fadnavis said that the cabinet expansion in Maharashtra will happen soon. Along with this, he also said that CM Eknath Shinde will decide when it will happen.
Like Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, Deputy CM Fadnavis also said that BJP and Shiv Sena will fight all elections under alliance. He told that this was discussed in Delhi during the meeting with Union Home Minister Amit Shah. Talking to the media, he said, “The expansion of the Maharashtra cabinet will happen soon. CM Shinde will decide when it will happen.”
In June 2022, Eknath Shinde and BJP together formed the government. Shinde got the post of CM and Fadnavis got the post of Deputy CM. On 9 August, 18 ministers were included in the government. According to the rules, there can be a maximum of 43 ministers in Maharashtra. However, neither CM Eknath Shinde Nor did Deputy CM Fadnavis give any fixed time for cabinet expansion. Earlier, Shinde had informed in a tweet that he and Fadnavis had met Shah in Delhi on Sunday night.
Devendra Fadnavis said that yesterday (June 4) we (Shiv Sena and BJP) discussed fighting all the elections together and making a strategy. Along with this, we also discussed making co-ordination in taluka and districts.
On Congress state president Nana Patole and Shiv Sena (UBT) MP Sanjay Raut criticizing his visit to Delhi, Deputy CM Fadnavis hit back, saying, “Nobody in Patole’s party (Congress) is allowed to attend a prayer meeting.” Permission is required from the high command. BJP is a national party. What’s wrong if we go to Delhi?”
