It has also been revealed in this research that it is 99 percent effective in killing bodily bacteria.
Effective in fighting against SARS-CoV-2 and Influenza Type A
Scientists at Doherty have been researching the properties of garlic for the past 18 months. They found that a specific variety of garlic grown in Australia can fight against SARS-CoV-2 and Influenza Type A virus. It has such antiviral properties that it can affect the patient’s body up to 99.9 percent. Research involving in-vitro testing against SARS-CoV-2 and Influenza Type A virus has used garlic extracts exclusively extracted from Australian grown garlic varieties.
Tested on more than 20 varieties of garlic
Now in such a situation, the question arises whether the virus of COVID-19 can be eradicated from the root by using these garlic. Dr Julie Macaulay, manager of the Doherty High Contentment Facility, told The Australian Financial Review that at first I thought it would be a complete failure. We tested garlic from over 20 varieties. We found that a product of AGP can reduce the infectious titer of SARS-CoV-2 and influenza by 3-log-fold (99.9 percent).
