It has rained in 133 taluks of 24 districts of Gujarat. Mehmedabad taluka of Kheda district has recorded the highest rainfall in the state. It has rained more than two inches here.

According to the information received from the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of rain in many states this week, while there may be severe heat in many areas of Bihar, Jharkhand. Apart from this, the Meteorological Department said that this time there may be some delay in the arrival of monsoon.
