The people of Bawana are now getting not one, but two schools. It is a school of specialized excellence.
One of the 35 Schools of Specialized Excellence built inside Delhi has been built in Bawana. These schools are so special that every year one lakh children appear for admission in them. While only a few thousand children get admission in these schools. In this school, children come to study after getting name cut from private school. Now this school has also been built in Bawana. The second was a girls’ school here, in which about 850 girls study. His school building was dilapidated. That school for these girls will be run in the building of this specialized school for some time. And for them a new school is being built nearby on 5 acres of land.
‘The country has given me a lot, I want to give it to every child’
CM Arvind Kejriwal said that he was very happy to visit the newly constructed school. The library of the school is very impressive, seeing which even the children will be very happy. I always used to say that this country has given me a lot. I studied in good school-college, studied from IIT Kharagpur, then my tuition fee for one month was only 32 rupees. It’s nothing. IIT is considered to be the best engineering college in the country. Even then the government used to charge Rs.32 from us. This means that the government spent money on me to make me an engineer and today it is my duty and I have decided to give better education to every child of my Delhi and country than what the country has given me. I want
CM Arvind Kejriwal said that when our country became independent, if we had done the rest of the expenses later and had done only one thing, we would have made all the government schools in the country excellent. I think that if we had started work on making government schools excellent in 1950, poverty would have been removed from the country by 1970. As for the rest, these children will grow up and build bridges, railways and do all the work. What can’t happen if we spend on the education of the children of our country.
Many governments say that from where to get so much money? Will have to spend a lot of money. Money is with all the governments. We have to decide what to spend the money on. Delhi government doesn’t have much money? Delhi also has as much money as other governments have. Arvind Kejriwal further said that he has put Manish Sisodia in jail because Manish ji has given good education to the children by building good schools. If Manish ji was not doing all these things, he would not have been sent to jail under any circumstances. They are feeling troubled that so many good schools are being built inside Delhi and the Aam Aadmi Party is being propagated everywhere. Wherever I go inside the country, everyone says the same thing that Delhi’s schools have become very good. The results of the children have started coming good and the children of the poor have started getting good education. That’s why they are suffering. Manish Sisodia will come out soon and I have full hope that the truth can never be defeated. God supports those who follow the truth. Arvind Kejriwal said that as long as Manish ji is in jail, we have to work at double the speed and give the best education to the children.
what is special about the school
This new building of Ambedkar School of Specialized Excellence has three storeys apart from the ground floor. The construction of this school building started in October 2020 and was completed in May 2023. About 69 years ago, in 1954, this 11 acres of land was donated only for the construction of the school. In 1965, a school was constructed on some part of the donated land, but in later years, the maintenance of the school building was neglected. As a result, the condition of the school building went on dilapidated whereas at present there are 850 clean students enrolled. At the same time, a lot of land was lying vacant in the school premises. The Delhi government has constructed a new building for the Specialized Excellence School.
The new building of the school has three blocks. Apart from 50 class rooms, it has 8 labs, 2 libraries, office and staff room, activity room, toilet. There is a lift on each floor for the convenience of the children. Fully air-conditioned multi-purpose hall with a seating capacity of 200. This is the 35th Ambedkar School of Specialized Excellence of Delhi Govt. In the first year, admissions are being given for class 9 in STEM and Humanities specialization. Each class will have a maximum of 4 sections. Around 500 students will be able to study in each of the two specialisations. One block of this building will be given to the already existing Sarvodaya Kanya Vidyalaya here, until its new building is ready. State-of-the-art laboratories and libraries will provide world class teaching-learning opportunities to the children of this region.
