After meeting Akhilesh Yadav, CM Kejriwal said, ‘…then the message will go that Modi government 2024’


Delhi Ordinance Issue: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal is trying his best to unite the opposition against the Centre’s ordinance. In view of this, he met Samajwadi Party President and former UP CM Akhilesh Yadav in Lucknow on Wednesday (June 7). He also thanked Akhilesh for supporting SP.

Arvind Kejriwal said, “If non-BJP parties come together, this ordinance can be defeated in Rajya Sabha and this will send a strong message that Modi government is not coming to power in 2024. I thank SP chief Akhilesh Yadav.” who has assured us that his party will support us in the Rajya Sabha.”

Kejriwal told that he had a long conversation with Akhilesh Yadav. The people of Delhi have elected us by voting. He said that only after three months, the Modi government had taken away the powers of the Delhi government by issuing a notification. After 8 years of fighting we got back our powers. Regarding the ordinance, he said that when it comes inside the Parliament, it will be passed in the Lok Sabha, but the BJP does not have a majority in the Rajya Sabha.

Arvind Kejriwal has met many leaders

To unite the opposition leaders against the ordinance, AAP leader Kejriwal had earlier met West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee, Jharkhand CM Hemant Soren, Bihar CM Nitish Kumar, Tamil Nadu CM MK Stalin, Telangana CM KCR, former Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray has met several leaders including Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) chief Sharad Pawar.

What is ordinance?

In fact, recently the Supreme Court had said that the Kejriwal government has the right to transfer and posting of officers in Delhi, but a few days later, the central government overturned it and brought an ordinance. Against this, Kejriwal is against the Modi government. Efforts are being made to unite the opposition parties.
