India Pakistan Kashmir Issue: The issue of Kashmir, which has been going on between India and Pakistan for years, is not being resolved. More than half of the territory of Jammu and Kashmir is occupied by China and Pakistan. However, still both of them are eyeing the remaining Jammu and Kashmir. Pakistani politicians often say in their statements that India has illegally occupied Kashmir and we will get it liberated. A Pakistani journalist has now shown the mirror to such people.
Wusatullah Khan, a senior journalist there in Pakistan, has now strongly reprimanded his own government regarding Pakistan’s Kashmir policy on this issue. Along with this, he also brought the reality of Kashmiri leaders like Farooq Abdullah and Mehbooba Mufti in front of everyone. During the Literature Festival (PLF) held in Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (POK), Wustullah Khan said- ‘The policies which were for East Pakistan (Bangladesh) in 1971, are continuing in Kashmir for 75 years.’
‘Kashmir is not an issue, it is an industry for political class’
Wustullah Khan said at PoK’s literature festival, ‘Kashmir is not an issue but an industry for a large political section.’ He said, “The Kashmir Committee is employed with this industry. Apart from Farooq Abdullah and Mehbooba Mufti, the political class of Azad Kashmir (POK) is employed with this industry. Then I am out of touch with this issue.” Why would I kick myself in the stomach with a box solution?”

Talking about the Kashmir issue, he targeted the Pakistani government and said, “You are sitting with a small strip of Kashmir. And sorry, you are not the issue. You are the industry. Kashmir Committee’s employment with this industry.” The employment of Farooq Abdullah’s Mehbooba Mufti and all the political classes in Azad Kashmir is connected with this industry… So why would I kick myself in the stomach.”
‘My vehicles are engaged, I am getting budget from Markaz’
Wustullah said, “There is no solution out of the box about this issue, or to give trouble to your mind that if this solution is not there then try this. Why? This is the question of my livelihood, it is the question of my stomach. My vehicles are engaged. I am getting the budget from Markaz. And Markaz which is… is explaining the issue of Kashmir to Kashmiris. What is this?
On hearing this, the people present in the back rows in the crowd started raising slogans. Some people were saying- “This country is ours, we will decide it”. “We will snatch freedom”, “We want freedom”.
Interrupting the people while raising slogans, the woman organizer said – Please don’t make it a jalsa. This is not a jalsa, this is a conversation.
Wustullah said, “You people have come with a well-thought-out agenda and don’t want to listen to us, so we leave.” The organizer said- “No, no, don’t go, sit here. We have to talk about it right now.”
