Due to this, ball tracking was also not seen and Rahane was completely successful in saving himself with the help of luck. Had this ball not been a nine-ball, Rahane would have lost his wicket as the ball was hitting the stumps directly.

At the end of the second day’s play, the Indian team had lost 5 wickets till the score of 151 in their first innings. Still Team India is 318 runs behind the first innings score of the Australian team in this match. At the end of the day’s play, Ajinkya Rahane returned to the pavilion unbeaten after scoring 29 runs in 71 balls. While batting today, Rahane injured his thumb as well.
