Baran News: Baran Congress city president and former deputy chairman of the city council Gaurav Sharma was shot in the head by the general secretary of the Congress itself. He died late night during treatment in the hospital. The bullet was also removed from his head, but after that the situation remained critical. The doctors treating say that a large part of his head was damaged due to the bullet.

The land dispute between the two deepened so much that friendship turned into enmity. On Wednesday, Congress General Secretary Rajendra Meena shot city president Gaurav Sharma, after which sensation spread in Baran city and the quota was immediately referred to the city president. The city president was undergoing treatment in a private hospital under the supervision of senior doctors. He was put on ventilator after the operation. His breath broke while struggling between life and death. The last rites will be performed in Baran.

Police is taking full vigilance in the matter. Gaurav Sharma has also been the vice-chairman of the earlier board of the city council. Along with this, apart from Brahmin organizations, he was also associated with many other organizations. There is deep resentment in the society and family after his death. Police has detained some people.

There was a dispute over a housing scheme
A lot of anger is being seen in Baran regarding this incident. Baran City President and General Secretary were good friends earlier. Along with this, there were also partners in the matter related to land and property. There was a lot of debate between the two over a residential project being constructed on Talwara Road. In this dispute, General Secretary Rajendra Meena fired at Gaurav Sharma, which hit his head. First he was taken to Baran and then from there he was referred to Kota. But he died late on Thursday night.
