CTET 2023 date released, exam will be held on this day


CBSE CTET 2023 Exam Date Announced: The Central Board of Secondary Education has released the CTET 2023 exam dates. This year the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) will be conducted in offline mode on 20th August. Candidates can take help of the official site ctet.nic.in for more information related to the exam.

The notice issued by CBSE states that the candidates registered for the 17th edition of the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) are informed that the CTET exam will now be held in offline mode i.e. pen-paper (OMR) on 20.08.2023 (Sunday). will be organized across the country. CBSE CTET exam will be conducted on 20 August 2023 in two shifts. The first shift will run from 9:30 am to 12:00 noon and the second shift will run from 2:30 pm to 5:00 pm.

Earlier, CBSE had released the detailed notification regarding exam, syllabus, eligibility and other languages ​​on the official website of CTET. Admit cards for the examination will be issued in due course. Information about exam city, exam center, reporting time, shift, guidelines etc. will be given on the admit card. Candidates will have to enter the required credentials to download the admit card.

When did the application process start

There are two papers in the CTET exam. Paper I is for those candidates who want to become a teacher for classes 1 to 5. Whereas, Paper II is conducted for those candidates who want to become teachers for classes VI to VIII. All the questions in the exam would be multiple choice, for which 4 options would be given. After passing the exam, the candidates will be eligible to get recruited on the post of teacher. CTET 2023 application process started on 27th April. While the last date for submission of online application was fixed as 26 May 2023.
