Meanwhile, former Pakistan player Basit Ali has made a scathing attack on Rahul Dravid.
Basit Ali said that Rahul Dravid is absolutely zero as a coach. Where was Rahul Dravid hiding behind the mountains when the above was distributing wisdom. Speaking on his YouTube channel, Basit Ali said, “India lost the match at the very moment when they chose to bowl worrying about the first two hours after winning the toss. The kind of bowling that was seen was like IPL. By lunch, the Indian bowlers looked so happy as if they had won the match.”
The former Pakistani cricketer further said, “All India can do now is get them out cheaply and hope for a miracle in the fourth innings. During the 120 overs that India fielded, I saw only 2-3 players fit – Rahane, Kohli and Jadeja. Everyone else looked tired.”
Rahul Dravid is zero as a coach: Basil Ali
Former Pakistani player Basit Ali further said, “I am a big fan of Rahul Dravid, always have been and will be. He is a class player, a legend. But as a coach he is absolutely zero. You prepared turning pitches for India. Just give me this answer. Were there similar wickets when India toured Australia? He had bouncy pitches, didn’t he? God knows what he was thinking.
