Odisha Train Accident: The horrific train accident that took place on June 2 in Balasore, Odisha shook everyone’s heart. Not only this, after the death of 288 people, some bodies were kept in a school in Balasore. After the temporary morgue of the school was built, the students flatly refused to go there and said that we cannot forget those horrifying pictures of the school ground, when dead bodies were lying all around. After this, Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik ordered the demolition of this building. Now a new building will be built in its place.
According to India Today’s report, a student of Bahanaga High School told that our school was full of dead bodies. We cannot forget the horrifying images of those bodies strewn all over our school. Many of these dead bodies were such that they were cut off, some did not have legs, whereas some had hands cut off. Even the entrails were visible. This is the reason why we cannot study in this school again.
School building demolished
Not only this, the 65-year-old school building was demolished on Friday (June 9) after school students refused to return to school due to fear. At the same time, the school management committee requested the Odisha government to demolish the building and said that this building was old and not safe. Apart from this, the students were also refusing to read again here. The bodies were kept there for two days as the relatives of the deceased were trying to identify the dead. The local people have decided to conduct a puja in the school and the students have expressed hope that they will feel better after the puja.
