Imran Khan has claimed that a conspiracy was hatched to remove him from the post when he was on the post of PM.
Imran Khan said during the interview given to Newsweek that political forces inside Pakistan had started telling him as an enemy of America. Imran Khan claimed that his government was ousted on April 9 last year, after which crowds thronged the streets. Imran Khan himself was also very surprised to see this.
During the interview, the PTI chief said that he would never expect such immense public support from the people. Regarding the violence that took place after his arrest on May 9, Imran Khan said that I had never made any plan.
Bajwa hatched a conspiracy against me: Imran Khan
During the interview, Imran Khan said that former army chief Qamar Javed Bajwa was among those who conspired to topple my government. Imran Khan further said that ‘people close to Bajwa and the army, when he used to ask why Imran was removed, his answer was because Imran was dangerous for Pakistan’. Significantly, Imran Khan was thrown out of power in April last year after a no-confidence vote, after which several allegations were leveled against him.
