Wrestlers Protest Update: The protesting wrestlers say that the government is trying to save the Wrestling Federation of India (WFI) chief and BJP MP from Uttar Pradesh Brijbhushan Sharan Singh. The wrestlers, led by Olympic medalists Sakshi Malik, Bajrang Punia and Vinesh Phogat, said they would not end their protest until Singh was put behind bars.

Wrestlers have been demanding his arrest ever since they resumed their agitation against the outgoing WFI chief at Delhi’s Jantar Mantar on April 23.
