Indian-American blames Florida resort, boat driver for wife’s death


Florida Resort Accident: An American citizen of Indian origin has filed a case against the boat driver and the resort in Florida. The Indian national has alleged that due to negligence and carelessness of the driver, his wife died and his son got injured.

According to the Washington Post report, Srinivasa Rao Alaparthi filed the case in Monroe County Court this week. In which Srinivasa Rao has accused Captain Pip of the boat and Marina & Hideaway Resort of negligence and murder. According to the report, the Indian-American man has filed a 68-page lawsuit.

Know what is the whole matter

The report states that on May 30 last year, Srinivasa Rao, his wife Supraja, their son and nephew had gone on a vacation to the Keys in Florida. All of them had gone for parasailing when suddenly the weather turned bad. As the weather worsened, the captain cut the rope of the parasailing boat, due to which Srinivasa Rao’s wife and children started flowing in the strong water. During this, Srinivasa Rao kept watching his family drown helplessly. According to reports, after drifting for two miles, they all hit a pole, killing his wife on the spot, while both the couple’s son and nephew were injured.

Resort and boat driver accused of negligence

An American citizen of Indian origin alleges that if the Captain and the resort had done their job properly, my wife would have been with me today and my two children would have been safe. Because of his negligence, he has lost his wife. Last year he also filed a lawsuit against parasailing company Lighthouse Parasailing, which operates out of Captain Pip’s Marina.
