Parasailing in America: Indian family suffers fatal accident, man sues captain


Parasailing accident florida: A person of Indian origin in America went to Florida resort for a holiday with his family. While parasailing in the Florida Keys, an accident happened and the man’s wife lost her life. After the fatal accident, the man has now sued the boat captain of the Florida resort.

According to media reports, the incident took place in the Florida Keys on May 30, 2022. In that accident, an Indian-American man, whose name was Srinivasrao Alaparthi, his wife Supraja (33 years) was killed. After the incident, Srinivasa Rao has now filed a 68-page lawsuit in Monroe County Circuit Court against the resort Marina & Hideaway, along with Boat Captain Pip, a man who was his accomplice. In the lawsuit, Srinivasa Rao has accused those people of negligence and wrongly conducting parasailing. He has been blamed for his wife’s death.

Boat captain had cut the rope: Srinivasa Rao
Srinivasa Rao said that while they were parasailing, after a few minutes, the boat captain cut the rope connecting the parasail to the boat. During that time he helplessly watched his wife and both boys drowning in the water. According to Srinivasa Rao, the wind carried the parasail far away, and the parasail dragged his family two miles across the water – until they hit a concrete pillar of a bridge, where his wife died on the spot. Just died.

‘The accident happened in front of my eyes, the wife died there’
Srinivasa Rao says, “It was the negligence of the boat captain and his service agents. That accident happened in front of my eyes, those people had wrongly got parasailing done.” On the other hand, the service providers say that the weather had turned bad then.

Srinivasa Rao told that his son (10 years), and nephew (9 years) also went parasailing. Both of them were also injured in the accident.
