Randeep Surjewala On Wrestlers Protest: Congress leader and Rajya Sabha MP Randeep Singh Surjewala has targeted the issue of protesting wrestlers by sharing an old video of Prime Minister Narendra.
Top wrestlers of the country, including Sakshi Malik, Bajrang Punia and Vinesh Phogat, are adamant on demanding strict action against the outgoing President of the Wrestling Federation of India (WFI) and BJP MP Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh. The police is probing the matter.

Meanwhile, the news came that the Delhi Police had asked two wrestlers to provide evidence of sexual abuse against Brij Bhushan, including photos, audios and videos, on which Randeep Singh Surjewala lashed out. Surjewala tweeted, “The daughters who clapped for winning the medal, today they are demanding justice against the misdeeds of the BJP MP! But daughters are being asked for proof of sexual abuse! The mind of the ‘superman’ of the 21st century is showing how dirty, tarnished and tainted… it is being demonstrated, we have to get rid of it!

Wrestlers fight against Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh
Let us inform that the arrest of Brijbhushan Sharan Singh is constantly being demanded by the protesting wrestlers and their supporters. Wrestlers started protesting against Brij Bhushan first on January 18 and then on April 23 this year at Delhi’s Jantar Mantar.
On May 28, the demonstration of wrestlers from Jantar Mantar was reduced due to police action. Many opposition leaders, Khapen and farmer leaders have come in support of the wrestlers. Recently, Randeep Singh Surjewala had also reached Jantar Mantar in support of the wrestlers.
Wrestlers have met Home Minister and Sports Minister
Recently top wrestlers have also held talks with Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Sports Minister Anurag Thakur to resolve the issue. However, the wrestlers are not ready for anything less than Brij Bhushan’s arrest. Meanwhile, the news of the withdrawal of the statement of the minor wrestler who had accused Brij Bhushan of sexual exploitation came.
The protesting wrestlers alleged that the WFI chief was pressurizing the victims of sexual harassment to change their statements. He said that if strict action is not taken against Singh by June 15, the protest will be resumed. The government has assured that a charge sheet will be filed against Brij Bhushan by June 15.
