Haryana News: Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar on Monday announced a monthly pension of Rs 10,000 to the Padma awardees of the state. Apart from monthly pension, the Chief Minister has also announced free travel facility in the state government’s ‘Volvo Bus’ service to the Padma Shri, Padma Bhushan and Padma Vibhushan winners of Haryana. The official statement said that the Chief Minister made this announcement during his visit to Karnal.
Earlier today, CM Khattar of Haryana met the public in Ward No. 16 of his assembly constituency Karnal, where CM Khattar said that the government has made several welfare policies to make life easier for the people of the state. He said, ‘People are getting the direct benefit of the schemes in our government. Now the assistance amount (under various schemes) goes directly to the beneficiary’s account.
