Indore News: The outbreak of scorching heat and humidity continues in Indore and its surrounding areas of Madhya Pradesh. Due to the scorching sun since Monday morning, there was silence on the roads. During this, the maximum temperature in the city was recorded between 38 to 39 degree Celsius, while the minimum temperature remained between 26 to 28 degree Celsius. According to the estimates of the Meteorological Department, monsoon can knock in Madhya Pradesh in the next two to three weeks.

Malwa-Nimar region including Indore is continuously hot and humid. After the heat throughout the day, people are in a state of distress due to the humidity in the evening and at night. Due to the cloudy weather along with the heat, such weather has remained constant. According to the estimates of the Meteorological Department and the Rural Agricultural Meteorological Service Center, the outbreak of heat will continue for a few more days. After that pre-monsoon activities can start, due to which there is a possibility of getting some relief from the heat.

Monsoon can knock in Indore from June 20 to 25

Monsoon is expected to reach Indore and surrounding areas between June 20 and 25. At present, Biparjai cyclonic storm formed in the Arabian Sea will move east towards Gujarat and Maharashtra. Due to its effect, the speed of winds will increase in Madhya Pradesh, these are good signs of ideal monsoon conditions. At present, it is believed that due to the cyclonic storm and the low pressure area, the pre-monsoon activities may start by the end of this week.

Damage to crops due to unseasonal rain and hailstorm

However, for the last few days, heavy rains, thunderstorms and hailstorms are being seen in Indore city. Apart from the rural areas of the district, continuous rains were seen in the urban areas since last days. It rained heavily in Depalpur, Sanwer and Mhow of Indore district, hailstorm also fell at some places. Due to excessive rain and hailstorm, crops were destroyed in many districts.

The collector said this regarding the loss of crops

In this regard, when Ilaiya Raja T, District Collector of Indore was asked, he said that so far no complaint has come to the fore regarding loss of crops in the district. Despite this, instructions have been given to the patwari and revenue officials of the area to take stock of the areas with excessive rains. The collector accepted that there has been excessive rain in some areas of Saver and Depalpur, where revenue officials have been sent for investigation.
