Udaipur Toy Train: Udaipur, the city of lakes, has established another new dimension in the field of tourism today. Today (June 12) the Maharana Pratap Express train has started from Udaipur. Tourists will be able to visit the forest for only 25 to 50 rupees. This train has started at Gulab Bagh, which is called the oxygen hub of Udaipur. Havan started at 3.30 pm after worshiping the train with full rituals. The booking counter was opened from 6 pm. Now tourists will be able to visit the huge Gulab Bagh by sitting in the train.

Udaipur Municipal Corporation’s Garage Committee President Manohar Chaudhary told that earlier Aravali Express train used to run at this place. Due to these trains being many years old, accidents were happening frequently. It was overturning again and again, due to which the children were also injured. This is the reason why that train was stopped 7 years back. Manohar Chaudhary told about the new train that I thought why not run the train afresh at this place. Started the project three and a half years ago. Which has just come as a new train and started today. Before this many trials were taken and then it was started. This train is made in Mumbai and it is not named Aravali but Maharana Pratap Express train. For this, the old tracks were completely removed and new tracks have been laid.

150 tourists will be able to travel in 2 coaches

Project manager Anirudh Singh Nathawat told that this project was started 4 years ago. Technical, external difficulties came and then Corona came. To overcome these difficulties, this special project has been started. He told that this train will run on neither diesel nor petrol. It is environment friendly if it runs on CNG. It has two compartments and is fully open. This train will run with 150 passengers. If we talk about tickets, the ticket for children up to 3-12 years will be Rs 25, while the ticket for adults will be Rs 50. Similarly, 100 and 200 rupees will be charged from foreign tourists, GST will be added to it.

Will be able to visit these places by train

The train has a track of about 1.25 km, which will take about 30 minutes to complete. Historical Kamal Talai will be found in the middle of this where you will be able to do boating after getting down. After this, you will be able to see the biggest bird park of the state. Guava orchard will also come. There will also be a chance to see such trees which are more than 300 years old. Not only this, a tunnel will also be prepared in the coming days.
