Dandy: Keshav Lal Mandal, son of Aruna Devi, sarpanch of Rajawar Panchayat of Rajaun police station area of the district, was attacked by criminals late on Sunday night. The miscreants fired at him which hit his left leg. The reason for the incident is being told as old enmity. On the other hand, the treatment of the injured youth is going on at Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College Hospital, Bhagalpur, Mayaganj, where his condition is said to be very critical.
Interrogation of the accused continues on father’s complaint
On the other hand, on Monday, a case has been registered in Rajoun police station on the statement of Sarpanch husband cum injured youth’s father Ayodhya Mandal regarding this incident. The father of the injured youth has accused Deepak Mandal and his father Udeshwar Mandal of the village for shooting his son. Here the Rajoun police is interrogating the accused father and son in custody under quick action.
Injured youth’s father told that he threatened while waving pistol
Ayodhya Mandal, the father of the injured youth, appealed for justice by giving an application to Rajoun police station chief and said that all the people of the house were sleeping on the terrace on Sunday night. Meanwhile, due to strong wind blowing late in the night, everyone woke up. Meanwhile, the bullet fired by the criminals with the intention of killing hit the left leg of Keshav Lal Mandal. After this, when he saw by lighting the torch, four unknown people including Deepak Mandal and Udeshwar Mandal from the village went away waving pistols threateningly. Everyone ran away on making noise.
Here, after the incident, with the help of villagers including family members, the young man was brought to Rajoun Community Health Center, where after first aid, he was referred to Mayaganj Hospital in Bhagalpur for better treatment.
In this regard, Rajon Police Station President Manoj Kumar Singh said that the matter is being investigated impartially, after investigation, strict legal action will be taken against the accused.
