Mayawati said, “Religious frenzy is being spread under the guise of love jihad and religious conversion. The BSP will protest against the destruction of tombs in UP and Uttarakhand. I see any politics in breaking the tomb. BSP is one of all religions Respects equally. Congress and BJP should respect other religions besides Hinduism. Communal violence is happening in Maharashtra. Dalits and backward are being oppressed.”
Responsibility given to Akash Anand
On the other hand, reacting to the assembly elections to be held this year, said, “Akash Anand has been made the coordinator for the state assembly for the upcoming assembly elections. BSP will contest the state assembly elections with full force this year.” He said, “We will contest the upcoming assembly elections on issues like exploitation, poverty, unemployment, price rise of Dalits, Adivasis and other backward classes at every level in Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh, Telangana and Madhya Pradesh.”
The BSP chief said, “For some time now, there has been a prominent fight between the BJP and the Congress on the issue of who among these two is a big Hindutvaist and a Hindu devotee and is expert in worshiping.
