Hindu studies center in DU: Delhi University (DU) is going to start a Center of Hindu Studies (CHS) this year to focus on various aspects of Hindu civilization such as its dynamics, history, philosophy and worldview. A university official said that the proposal in this regard was approved in the executive council meeting of the university on June 9. The new center will initially start a Post Graduate Program in Hindu Studies for the academic session 2023-24.
The process for admission in Delhi University will start from tomorrow. Along with this, DU will also launch its CSAS portal tomorrow. This year, admission is to be done on 70 thousand undergraduate seats in about 65 colleges of DU. For which interested and eligible students will be able to register themselves through the CSAS portal. This year separate portals will be launched for CSAS graduation and CSAS post graduation. While like last year, this time also DU colleges will not release the cut-off list.
Must appear in CUET (Ph.D.)
Delhi University had taken a decision in the meeting held recently, according to which now candidates seeking admission for PhD will have to appear in the CUET exam to be conducted by NTA. Candidates have to appear in CUET (Ph.D.) for admission to Ph.D.
DU will make B.Tech
During the meeting of the Executive Council, it was decided that Delhi University will offer B.Tech degree in Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering and Electrical Engineering. In which a total of 360 students will be admitted, in this there will be 120 students for each B.Tech program. For admission, the candidate will have to give JEE Mains exam. The syllabus, credits and courses for the first two semesters have been finalised.
