Police reached Ghaziabad regarding accused Shahnawaz in conversion case, got judicial custody for 3 days


UP News: Shahnawaz Maqsood Khan alias Baddo, accused in the online game conversion case in Uttar Pradesh, was taken from Thane in Maharashtra to Ghaziabad on Tuesday. After this many agencies questioned him. After interrogation, Baddo was presented in the court and remand was sought. Pakistani mail ID has been found with Baddo. On May 30, an FIR was registered in Ghaziabad police station Kavinagar in the case of conversion. The police had started investigation in this matter.

The police took the investigation forward and arrested the cleric of the mosque, Rehman. After this, the Ghaziabad police had reached Thane in Maharashtra in search of Baddo, the mastermind behind the religious conversion. On the other hand, in the case of religious conversion, the matter of religious conversion of five minor boys came to the fore. Baddo was arrested with the help of Maharashtra Police, after which on 12 June, Baddo was presented in judicial custody of Thane in Maharashtra. Ghaziabad police got judicial custody for 72 hours.

Some data of Baddo’s mobile was also recovered.

On the other hand, the police reached Ghaziabad with Baddo on 13th June. The police produced Shahnawaz Maqsood Khan alias Baddo in the court, after which the court sent Baddo to judicial custody for 14 days. The police interrogated Baddo for a long time. Baddo’s Pakistani connection has also come out during interrogation. Pakistani email ID has also been received from him. Some mobile data has also been recovered from Baddo. Many electronic evidences have also been found by the police. Now the police will also seek police remand of Shahnawaz Maqsood Khan alias Baddo, after which many more secrets will be revealed in this conversion case.
