Russia’s ‘cheap’ oil will become a new headache for Pakistan, know the reason

Pakistan: For the first time in Pakistan, the consignment of crude oil from Russia reached Karachi port on Sunday (June 11). Pakistan, which is going through an economic crisis, hopes that this will bring down the skyrocketing oil prices in the country. The Prime Minister of Pakistan is giddy after the crude oil consignment arrived. He himself informed about the arrival of crude oil in Russia.

Pakistan may be celebrating the consignment of crude oil coming from Russia, but this will not bring down the skyrocketing oil prices in the country. Experts are claiming this. Experts believe that Russian oil is heavy and it will yield more furnace oil instead of high speed diesel. This will not reduce the domestic oil prices in Pakistan.

Low demand for furnace oil

According to the report of Geo News, there is not much demand for furnace oil in Pakistan. Pakistan is already exporting by incurring losses on furnace oil. In such a situation, after Russian oil, furnace oil will increase further in Pakistan, consuming which will become a headache for Pakistan.

Russian oil is not beneficial for Pakistan

According to the report of Geo News, Russia has given this oil to Pakistan at 16 to 18 dollars cheaper. 45 thousand tonnes of crude oil has just reached Pakistan from Russia. According to the report, Pakistan has made this payment for this oil in Chinese currency Yuan. Pakistan’s oil experts say that on the other hand, 50 percent high speed diesel is produced in Saudi oil and only 25 percent furnace oil is produced.

Significantly, the Prime Minister of Pakistan, Shehbaz Sharif, this is the beginning of a new relationship between Russia and Pakistan. But if in reality the oil prices do not come down in the country, then people will question the government again.
