Stock Market Closing On 13th June 2023: Tuesday’s trading session has proved to be extremely auspicious for the Indian stock market. Due to the buying of investors in FMCG and consumer durables stocks, there was a great boom in the market. BSE Sensex has again succeeded in crossing the figure of 63,000 in this boom. At the end of today’s trading, the BSE Sensex closed at 63,143 with a gain of 418 points and the National Stock Exchange’s Nifty closed at 18,716 points with a gain of 114 points.

In today’s business, shares of FMCG and Consumer Durables Stocks, Banking, IT, Pharma, Metals, Energy, Media, Real Estate, Infra, Healthcare and Oil & Gas sectors closed with gains. In today’s session only the share of auto sector has seen a decline. Mid-cap and small-cap stocks also closed at a brisk pace. In today’s business, the index of mid-cap stocks closed with a gain of 1.22 per cent or 419 points. Out of 50 Nifty stocks, 36 closed with gains while 14 closed with losses. Whereas, out of 30 Sensex stocks, 19 closed with gains and 11 closed down.

In today’s trade, Asian Paints closed with a gain of 2.15 per cent, Titan 2.07 per cent, ITC 1.96 per cent, Reliance 1.50 per cent and Tata Steel 1.46 per cent. While Kotak Mahindra closed down by 1.18 per cent, Mahindra & Mahindra by 0.68 per cent, HCL Tech by 0.58 per cent, SBI by 0.37 per cent.
Rise in investor wealth
There has been a tremendous increase in the wealth of investors amid the spectacular boom in the market. The market cap of listed companies in BSE has increased to Rs 289.99 lakh crore, which was Rs 288.04 lakh crore on Monday. That is, in today’s trading session, there has been a jump of Rs 1.95 lakh crore in the wealth of investors.
