WhatApp Update: Meta is continuously working on improving its instant messaging platform WhatsApp. From time to time, the company is bringing new updates for users ranging from mobile, tablet, iPhone to laptop and desktop. Meanwhile, the company is soon going to give Windows users two new features in the app on laptop and desktop. One of these features is going to be of great use which will save you a lot of time.
Here’s the update
According to Wabetainfo, a website that monitors the development of WhatsApp, the company is working on the edit feature for window users and the screen share feature during video calls. Under the edit feature, users will be able to edit the sent message for the next 15 minutes. Similarly, by turning on the Share Screen feature, users will be able to share their WhatsApp screen during video calls. The people who have joined the video call from the mobile phone will also be able to see the shared screen.
This feature improves privacy
WhatsApp has already released the chat lock feature for Android and iOS users some time back. Under this feature, users can hide their Saucy chats from others. On locking the chat, it is removed from the chat list and shifted to a separate folder which can be opened only by the mobile owner. Apart from this, the company has also recently given Android and IOS users the option to put voicenotes on WhatsApp status. Users can set up to 30 seconds audio clip as status.
