Cyclone Biparjoy: The Rajasthan government is fully prepared for the rescue from the Biparjoy cyclonic storm. Chief Secretary Usha Sharma said this. He said that 17 teams of National Disaster Response Force (SDRF) have been appointed to deal with any situation and 30 teams have been asked to be ready, wherever it is needed, they will be sent there.
Usha Sharma was presiding over the meeting of District Collectors at Government Secretariat on Wednesday to save Rajasthan from the effects of cyclone Biparjoy. Director General of Police Umesh Mishra was present in the meeting and the collectors of the affected districts were connected through video conference.
‘All officers should be alert’
Sharma said that the level of preparations of the government regarding Biparjoy should be such that there is no loss of life or property. He instructed the officers to remain present at their headquarters. According to a government statement, the Chief Secretary emphasized on spreading maximum information about the prevention of this natural disaster among the people.

He said that awareness should be spread among the people with the help of village head, village guard, security friend, all Panchayat Samiti members so that people do not face problems due to submergence in low-lying areas. He said that Rajasthan has always topped in disaster management, this time also the state will pass through it well.
Biparjoy will enter these districts
In the meeting, the official of the Meteorological Department told that on June 16, this biparjoy will weaken and enter Jalore and Barmer, whose speed will be 50 to 60 km/h, as a result of which there may be heavy rains and thunderstorms in the state. He said that there may be heavy rains in West Rajasthan, after June 17 this system will gradually weaken.
