MP News: The Gwalior Bench of the Madhya Pradesh High Court (MP High Court Gwalior Bench) has expressed strong objection to conducting the GNM (General Nursing and Midwifery) examination despite the stay of the court. During the hearing of this case, Justice Rohit Arya warned, “Nursing colleges in Madhya Pradesh have become a huge scam. Let me make it clear that if this is seen in the CBI report If I find that the colleges do not exist or that there are huge flaws in them, then I will not leave anyone?”

Fraud of nursing colleges in MP

It is being told here that in the case of nursing college forgery, CBI investigation is being done in 364 colleges on the instructions of the High Court. Meanwhile, the GNM examination of 20 thousand students was conducted. During the hearing in this matter on Tuesday, the Gwalior Bench of the Madhya Pradesh High Court expressed displeasure in a very strong tone and went to the extent of saying that the state’s DME (Director Medical Education) is not even eligible to become a clerk.

The Division Bench of Justice Rohit Arya and Justice Sanjeev S Kalgaonkar remarked during the hearing that the MP Nurses Registration Council (MPNRC) has become a wild horse. The state cannot do anything in this. They have harmed the dignity of the law. Raising the question, Justice Rohit Arya said, “Look, you are playing with the students as well. These students also pay a huge amount in lieu of education.” While many of these colleges do not exist. Many do not even have teachers. These nursing colleges are worse than educational shops. Despite all this, you took the GNM exam of 20,000 students.”

This strict comment on DME

In this regard, when the High Court bench asked Additional Advocate General Khedkar that who decides to conduct the examination, he told that the department and the DME. On this, the court said, “He is not even fit to be a DME clerk.” In the end, Justice Rohit Arya warned, “I will not spare anyone if I find fault.”

In fact, the Lord Educational and Welfare Society of Gwalior, in its petition, had requested to transfer the students studying in the Nursing College to another college. The court was told that the college was recognized on 19 April 2022 and on 16 June 2022 He was taken back. Representation was also given to the MPNRC to transfer the children to other colleges, but the same is getting delayed. The Court did not give direct relief to the petitioner and directed the MPNRC to dispose of the petitioner’s representation expeditiously. The Court ordered a CBI inquiry. Expressed strong displeasure over conducting GNM exam in between.
