According to the Times of India report, the Forest Department has kept more than 100 lions in the high security zone in Saurashtra and its surrounding areas. The forest department is adopting different strategies to take these lions present in large numbers to a safe area. According to officials, around 30 lions living in Gir Somnath-Bhavnagar area and close to the coast have been removed from this area.

All surround the lions from three sides and then drive them forward in one direction.

According to the security guards, there is also a strategy in such a situation to take the lion to the hill, by doing this the whole herd reaches him after some time. This is very effective for those cubs whose age is less. After this, keeping the prey in the area, the lions are kept busy in it for about two days. The lions will be kept in the hilly area till the danger of Biparjoy is over.
