Delhi News: Along with stray dogs in Delhi, the menace of stray animals has also increased a lot, due to which the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD Delhi) is seen in action mode. Actually, MCD has taken a big step to provide relief to the Delhiites from stray dogs. Mayor Shelly Oberoi flagged off 4 state-of-the-art animal catching vehicles to catch stray dogs. With the help of these vehicles, people are expected to get rid of stray dogs soon. Along with this, arrangements are being made for the shelter of stray animals. In this regard, the Mayor has also written a letter to Cabinet Minister Gopal Rai.
Delhi roads will be free from stray animals
Mayor Dr. Shelly Oberoi told that people are getting rid of the problem of stray animals. During this, care is also being taken that even stray animals do not face any problem. Another meeting will be held soon with the NGO that catches stray animals. In this, a plan will be prepared to free the streets of Delhi from stray animals. Not only this, arrangements are also being made for the shelter of stray animals. For this, a letter has also been written to Cabinet Minister Gopal Rai in the Delhi government.
Trees will be pruned with pruning machines
The corporation has purchased 12 new pruning machines for pruning trees in Delhi. The specialty of these machines is that it is equipped with telescopic boom mechanism, which is capable of reaching tall trees and branches with ease. Cattle Catcher vehicles, on the other hand, have hydraulically operated platforms and run on CNG fuel.
