‘Discrimination against Hindu Americans’
Dr. Romesh Japra said during the Hindu-American summit that this is the first ever summit. We are organizing this for political affiliation. We have done good work in every field, but politically we are far behind. We feel that Hindu Americans are being discriminated against, so we thought it was a good idea to bring all the organizations together.

At the Hindu summit, US Congresswoman Michelle Steele showed her support for the Hindu community by sharing commonalities with the Korean and Indian American experiences. Michelle Steele represents California’s 45th district.
