Lanka Premier League Auction 2023 Suresh Raina: For the first time in the Lanka Premier League (LPL), the auction process of players was organized. The names of many legendary players of world cricket were called in the player auction held on 14th June. Suresh Raina took part in this player auction as the only player from India. He was included in the 11th set. But when auctioneer Charu Sharma did not call his name, everyone including the fans got confused. For the first time, Sri Lanka Cricket organized a player auction for its T20 league on the lines of IPL. A total of 360 players were included in this, in which Suresh Raina’s name was also included. Raina is counted among the specialist batsmen of T20 format in world cricket. Raina has played more than 250 T20 matches so far. Former Indian player Irfan Pathan participated in the last season of Lanka Premier League.

The beginning of the upcoming season of Lanka Premier League will be seen from 31 July. In this, apart from the current captain of the Pakistani team, Babar Azam, many great players like Wahab Riaz will be seen playing.
