Haryana News: Haryana’s Panipat Police has exposed the ATM robbery gang. Police has arrested 4 members of ATM robbery gang. The leader of this gang is an army fugitive Sukhvindra alias Sukha, to expose this gang, a 12-member police team searched about 500 CCTV cameras within a radius of 200 kilometers and examined about 300 hours of footage. Police have recovered 2 vehicles and looted ATM machines along with a huge cache of weapons from the accused.
Formed a gang after running away from the army
The leader of this gang, Sukhvindra alias Sukha is 12th pass, he is a resident of village Shadipur in Patiala district of Punjab. Drought was admitted to the army in the year 1997 but when he came back on leave in 2001, he did not return to duty. The army had declared him a deserter. After which Sukha drove a taxi for about 5 years. After that he went to Dubai in 2018 to do the work of fall ceiling. But after 10 months he returned. After returning, he formed a gang. In which his younger brother Bhupendra was also included. After that Devendra and his brother Gurmeet, resident of Kol village of Patiala also joined this gang.
Consequences of many incidents
This gang of Sukhvindra alias Sukha carried out many incidents of uprooting ATM machines in many districts of Punjab and Haryana. To carry out the incidents, he got his Gulf’s fake number plate made and after getting his Fortuner vehicle modified from behind, removed the rear seat so that he could keep the looted ATM machine. Reiki was done by these accused before committing the crime at any place. Then he used to come with weapons and tie the ATM with a rope in the Fortuner and take it in the car. Police also reached 30 villages after scanning 500 CCTV cameras of 200 km. In which the police showed the photo of Fortuner to the people of the village. After which it came to know that this Fortuner is parked in Shadipur village of Patiala. The police reached the spot and identified the Fortuner, a Maruti-800 and a gas cutter machine. Only then this matter was revealed.
